Design Director for Saphyre, a streamlined FinTech/RegTech communication platform working to speed onboarding and Ready-to-Trade processes in order to help our clients achieve revenue faster.
As head of design I have lead design efforts from day one to create an intuitive, easy to use platform that promotes collaboration and efficient data and document management. I also created the branding and all digital/print marketing collateral (an example of slides and handouts shown below).
Our team’s dedication to user experience and ability to quickly deliver new features and functionality has impressed major financial institutions and we are thrilled to have brought some of them on as clients. We are now at the point of negotiating for a Series A round of funding.

As a 5’11” woman I constantly struggle with finding pants that are long enough, dresses with the waist in the correct place (or that aren’t hella short), and shoes that fit. And that I’d be caught dead in. I have spent hours combing through the results of various google searches trying to find something that worked for me, and finally realized the market opportunity.
I have been working to set up a curated site, creating revenue via affiliate marketing, that attempts to make the process of finding good quality, sensibly priced, well designed items simple, fun and easy for all my fellow tall ladies out there.

Founder of Fox Island
Product development and branding for my own handcrafted, grapefruit infused triple sec.
This idea came from a market opportunity I uncovered while shopping to for ingredients to make a pitcher of margaritas for my friends during a warm getaway weekend to Cape Cod. As I made my way to the liqueur aisle I came across an issue I’ve faced many times- do I buy over-the-top Cointreau or Grand Marnier or do I grab the budget friendly DeKuper for like $5. The triple sec only counts for a fraction of the recipe, so the high price tag and knowledge that I’d never use the full bottle set my gaze to what is basically fake orange flavored sugar. After spending way too long debating it, I shrugged and went for the cheap stuff, knowing I was sacrificing taste, but hoping my friends wouldn’t notice..
I rehashed my experience to my friends while making the margaritas.. I was juicing fresh limes because the mix or frozen stuff is just way too sugary and I do value quality.. and they all emphatically agreed. It was an issue. For everyone.
Why wasn’t there a high-quality, accessible triple sec? Fox Island was born over the next few months, experimenting in my kitchen with various ingredients, methods, and products. I’m so proud of it, and now I’m working to bring it to you.
